Bunions

Medically known as Hallux Abducta Valgus (HAV). This is where the big toe moves towards the second toe making the joint of the big toe prominant or stick out from the side of the foot. Bunions can be painful, swollen and unsightly.

Bunions can be caused by being:

Hereditry
Wearing high heels or ill fitting shoes
Muscle deformity in the foot

Bunions usually become worse over time and can result in Arthritis.
